Omkareshwar

Omkareshwar is one of Shiva's 12 sacred Jyotirlinga shrines. It is located on Mandhata or Shivapuri Island in the Narmada River in the Khandwa region of Madhya Pradesh, India; the island's shape is claimed to resemble the Devanagari symbol Om.
